Sheila Hartley, a native of Harrison County, moved to Marion County in 1988, where she married and raised her children, Emily and Jimmy. She studied Business at Fairmont State University and began a career in the business and banking industry before a series of significant health challenges changed her life. Diagnosed with Stage III Melanoma, Secondary Lymphedema, Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (MCTD), and CPTSD in a short span of time, Sheila faced a 13-year period of disability, during which she was unable to work. 

As part of her treatment plan, Sheila received massage therapy, MLD Manual Lymph Drainage Therapy which brought her significant pain relief, and other healing benefits. This experience ignited a passion to help others and at age 45 led her to pursue a career as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Her health journey ultimately inspired her entrepreneurial path.
