THE RETREAT EXPERIENCE

This is not a typical workshop - it’s a thoughtfully designed team reset.

 

ZenJen retreats create space for teams to step away from daily pressures and reconnect with themselves, their colleagues, and the work they do together.

 

Hosted on a peaceful 100-acre historic farm, these experiences combine mindfulness practices, nature immersion, gentle movement, and intentional team building.

Morning: Ground & Connect

The morning portion of the retreat is guided by ZenJen and helps participants transition out of the fast pace of life into a more present and grounded state.

 

Morning experiences typically include:

  • Mindfulness Overview

  • Mindfulness Walk – 5 Senses Experience on the farm

  • Team Dynamics & Collaboration activity

Afternoon: Choose Your Path

In the afternoon, teams customize their retreat by selecting experiences that best align with their interests and goals.

 

These sessions allow participants to deepen their learning, release stress, and explore new tools for well-being and connection.

Closing: Integrate & Reflect

The retreat concludes with a calming integration experience allowing participants to absorb insights and leave feeling grounded and renewed.

ZenJen retreats are hosted at Homestead Farm Center, a peaceful 100-acre historic farm offering open fields, walking paths, gardens, and farm animals.

 

Homestead Farm Center, located in Fairmont, West Virginia, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for individuals with disabilities. A portion of each retreat supports their ongoing mission and community impact.

Nature is not simply the backdrop - it is part of the experience
